Ask anyone and they'll say they don't like winter. I personally hate it. You can't live 4 months out of the year hating life, so I've found a little silver lining about the entire situation - clothes. Obviously.
I love dark colours, layers and a pair of warm, oh so slightly heeled boots. Winter is the perfect season for me to look on trend while wearing mostly black. Because I mostly own black or generally dark coloured clothing which looks out of place on a sunny summer's day.
I've also found a correlation between my age and my ability to deal with the cold. I fondly remember the good old days when a school tshirt and mere jacket kept me pretty warm. Nowadays I don't even entertain the idea of going outdoors unless I put on a jumper, blanket sized scarf and a coat that is made up of at least 70% wool.
It's pretty obvious that at 24, age has got the best of me. So I made the bold decision to invest in a fluffy jumper this winter. However, having been left with a warm, fuzzy feeling from said jumper. one quickly became two and so on. I currently own 4 fluffy jumpers, two of which are identical but just in different colours, and quite frankly, I regret nothing. I picked them all up from Debenhams and House of Fraser during sale events or with vouchers, so I like to convince myself that they're really a cheap investment. As mentioned in previous posts, I do that a lot.

What are your go to's during winter and do you also make excuses to yourself when shopping? Because I need to know if I need help.
