Budapest

I feel like I started 2015 off in the best possible way - a long weekend away. But then again, any weekend feels like the best possible thing to happen to me.
At just £140 per person for hotel and flights, I tell myself it would have been rude not to go really. But I tell myself this a lot when it comes to spending my money.
In all honesty, I'm not sure what I expected of Budapest but it's definitely everything I want in a travel destination: historic, easy to get around and easy on the eyes. Don't get me wrong, there are parts of Budapest I didn't enjoy so much but on the whole, it was a perfect mixture of old and new.
Hopefully the travel trend will continue, but with saving up for uni and a house, it may have to take a back seat for a while. So here are a few photos I took while in Budapest at the end of January. I had a great 3 days, even if it was 3 degrees Celsius, and with all the walking I did, I do not regret a single bite of the tons of food I had while there.
