London

Once upon a time I worked in a pub and absolutely hated bank holidays. I was always covered in alcohol and mistaken for the local drunk one too many times.
But now, the best thing about having an office job is bank holidays, the very same days that were once the bane of my life. Just a few short months after leaving my pub job, bank holidays have become a blessing and an excuse to have a weekend away.
London is one of the many places I keep visiting because I haven't been able to make my way around to everything I want to see. This time I focused on Harrods for shopping, the V&A and Imperial War Museum for some culture and Five Guys Burgers and Lady Dinah's Cat Cafe for much needed food. I also went on a tour of Parliament, but mostly because my boyfriend wanted to and relationships are about compromise, or at least that's what I've been told. In all honesty though, the Parliament tour wasn't so bad, in fact I may have slightly enjoyed it.
